Private pay with a path to reimbursement

I operate on a private-pay basis, which means you pay for each session and I focus entirely on your care.

After every session, I provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance provider yourself. Many clients with out-of-network benefits receive meaningful reimbursement.

Before your first session, it is worth a quick call to your insurer to ask: "What are my out-of-network speech therapy benefits?" The answer will tell you what to expect.

How the superbill process works

  • 1
You attend your session and pay the $150 session fee.
  • 2
I provide a superbill — an itemised receipt with the diagnosis and procedure codes your insurer needs.
  • 3
You submit the superbill to your insurance provider as an out-of-network claim.
  • 4
Your insurer reimburses you directly, based on your out-of-network benefits.

Reimbursement amounts vary by plan. Call your insurer before your first session to confirm your out-of-network speech therapy benefits.

Fees and payment FAQ

Do I need to commit to a certain number of sessions?

No. There is no subscription, no package requirement, and no minimum commitment. You pay per session. That said, I will discuss a recommended therapy timeline with you after your initial assessment so you have a realistic sense of what progress looks like for your situation.

When do I pay?

Payment is due at the time of each session. I accept major credit and debit cards via a secure payment link sent after each appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. This will be covered in your intake paperwork before your first session.

Does the free consultation count as a therapy session?

No. The free 30-minute consultation is a conversation — not a clinical assessment or therapy session. It is an opportunity to meet me, discuss your concerns, ask questions, and decide together whether to move forward. The $150 session fee applies to therapy sessions only.

Will my insurance cover speech therapy?

I do not bill insurance directly, but many clients receive partial or full reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits using the superbill provided after each session. Coverage varies widely by plan. The best way to find out is to call your insurer and ask specifically about out-of-network speech therapy coverage before your first session.
